Yash Thukral Founder/President
Yash Thukral is an innovative professional with a passion for investing and portfolio management. In 2019, Yash co-founded White Lion Capital, LLC, where he serves as the Portfolio Manager and Founding Partner. In this role, Yash manages the small-mid cap and life science portfolio that focuses on equity or debt investments with publicly traded companies in compliance with SEC guidelines. Born and raised in California, Yash graduated from the University of California, San Diego in 2019 with a double major in Applied Mathematics and Management Science. While pursuing his undergraduate degrees, Yash simultaneously began his career in 2017 as a Founder and General Partner, where he raised and managed a venture capital portfolio with an AUM of $25 million. Yash has been featured in Forbes, the New York Post, the LA Times, and on the front cover of the San Diego Business Journal.
Yash’s dedication to learning and growth extends beyond his career. He is currently pursuing a JD at Loyola Law School, adding a legal dimension to his already vast skill set. Following this extended educational journey, Yash’s passion revolves around the community. His philanthropic activities have provided education to many undergraduate students entering the real world. Yash’s commitment to social responsibilities underscores his belief in creating positive change beyond his professional attributes.
Shayan Harvis Treasurer/Secretary
Shayan is an ambitious and the highest academic achiever at Palo Verde High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has won the Harvard Prize Book Award for his academic excellence and high character. He is also a recipient of the AP Scholar with Distinction Award. Shayan is deeply connected with his local communities by volunteering in school activities, libraries, and music festivals. He also has a passion for music and has successfully completed the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Level 7 (Honours) Piano Certification and Las Vegas Music Teachers Association Level 9 Piano Certification. In addition, he has received a Superior with Honors rating in the National Federation of Music Clubs – Junior Festivals Piano and Special Award for getting exemplary scores for four consecutive years in the Chase-Riecken Musicianship Exams.
Besides academics, Shayan is an active member of National Honor Society and treasurer of Science National Honor Society. He is also the co-captain of Varsity Quiz and Science Bowl, and has participated in local and state competitions. Shayan has great interest in finance, business, management, and technology, and wants to use the knowledge and experience he gains for philanthropy.
